Adopted – Black Boxer/Lab mix – loves to sleep on the couch, tease cats, steal toys from sister dog, has own pillow on boy's bed, handsome dog, knows how to open a bread bag, eat the loaf of bread and leave the plastic whole, doesn't respond to "come" but will run 2 miles at top speed if you yell "supper time" or "Scooby Snack"!   Wiggles uncontrollably when the school bus arrives each day, loves to be held in boy's arms (even though he weighs 60 pounds!) and loves to keep Mom hopping all day long with teenage dog antics!

Who would think we'd get such a quality animal from an animal rescue!

Magnum came to live with us from Virginia over a year ago.   He arrived as a happy healthy 3 month old puppy.  He/we were lucky that Magnum lived with a foster family before his arrival.   He came totally crate trained, almost potty trained and was immediately a happy friendly (maybe a little too friendly) new member of our family.  Sonja Moore looked for our son's dream puppy – either a lab or boxer puppy – we got a boxer/lab mix!   She was also sure that he was healthy and family friendly before he arrived.  

We would definitely adopt from SAP Rescue again and really appreciate the work that Sonja and friends do to make sure that adoptions are great for both animals and families!
